Liturgical

Trained servers — often youth — who assist the priest at the altar: carrying the cross and candles, presenting the gifts, and helping at the credence table.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHCs) — commissioned lay ministers who assist the priest and deacon in distributing the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass, and who carry Holy Communion to parishioners who are sick, homebound, or in the hospital. Ministers are trained, commissioned by the pastor, and serve on a regular rotation with reverence and care.

Proclaim the first and second readings and lead the Prayers of the Faithful at Mass.

The Mass captain and sacristan for each liturgy — prepares the altar, vessels, and vestments beforehand, confirms every liturgical minister is present, fills gaps, keeps the celebration running smoothly, and restores the sanctuary afterward.

Parish choirs that lead the English and Spanish liturgies — Voces en Cristo, Maranatha, the Youth Choir, and the Sunday Mass choirs.

Choir practices on weekday evenings — see the calendar.

Welcome parishioners, seat latecomers, take up the collection, guide the Communion procession, and hand out bulletins.
